new to the site but watch some of smd content and liked it a lot I have a ? about a box build nothing new there I'm sure. I have fi 18 that is in a 98 suburban I built a box not to bad of a design but not great either I was just wonde3ring if any one else is running this speaker and what there box dimensions are for reference sake thanks.

All the lanes, world championships ive been to,......... no a single person "strapped" their amplifiers. Not a single one. Cheers. (also, it was for easy, and reliability,.. just saying).
But hey, do you,.. so you can say "strapped" in your videos or whatever. Guess it sounds cool to dipshits.

Strapped amps make less power compared to being ran normally, they are also more likely to go into protect, you also loose phase control on those larger multi sub installs.

I lined the entire inside of my D4S Sundown Single SA 12 Classic Profab box with Noico Red 315 mil (8 mm) closed-cell polyethylene foam. I didn't line any of the port area at all in the box though. Do you think it will make a difference in the way the box sounds? System not wired yet so I don't know right now. Thanks.

To turn off the sounds for the smd chat, click the 3 bars that are one under another and click toggle sound.

That generation caravans get LOUD, they are cheater vehicles like a honda crx, they even louder when you can find them as a panel van with no rear side glass.

Woke up and almost shit myself. 8am i was about to get ready for work and my phone gets an emergency alert.... It says “EMERGENCY ALERT. BALLISTIC MISSLE THREAT INBOUND TO HAWAII. SEAK IMMEDIATE SHELTER. THIS IS NOT A DRILL.” That was a fucked up half hour to start the day off. Turns out some dumbass hit the wrong button SMFH.

Anyone know where the fuel line leads go after they leave the filter and go to the engine on a 2002 tahoe? i think my lines may be clogged and i cant jack up my truck to find the lead and if i can just figure out where it comes out to the engine it would be a big help

The pumps are not hard to change, just a couple bolts to undo the tank straps and you can angle the tank down enough to get in there and swap it out.
Did it in my buddies 02 yukon xl in the middle of winter. Pro tip hopefully your tank is at least half empty or less..
You should easily be able to trace the fuel lines under the hood, pop off the plastic engine cover if yours has it. They are usually aluminum but sometimes black rubber hose. There should be a shredder valve you can depress and see if gas is squirting out (make sure its the right valve, and not the ac ones).If gas squirts out with the key on while there is pressure from the pump you can pretty much rule the pump out.
