Geeez I feel kinda ashamed to say this, but my first amp was a cheap raidio shack amp. I believe it was called an Olympia or an optimus or something like that. It was a 400w amp that powered my 2 kenwood 12s. Lol damn that was a long time ago! -Edit: I found a pic of one like it. Mine was a 400w I'm pretty sure.

Installers in here?
sprkn_ranger replied to loki's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
As far as the trouble shooting you could charge 20 bucks to look at it and tell them if they choose to have you fix it the $20 will be applied to the cost of repairs. And the only thing I could recommend with the installing shitty pep boys gear is just let the customer know that you are qualified to install it but can't guarantee the quality of the product due to it being low end gear or something along those lines. It's tough to tell a customer their shit is no good but it covers your butt in the long run. -
car vs marine

Yea I think the main difference is in the weather resistance. There may be some sound quality differences because they use different materials for the surrounds and cones to make them weather resistant but I'm not sure how much it would affect the sound quality. -

And a good place to get an alt is mechman, he has a section on the forums here, but it's best to email directly or call as they are real busy and don't always get to the forums. -
Laptop Randomly Powers Off

It may be getting too hot. If the heat sinks on the CPU are dusty or the fans have alot of dust on them then that drastically cuts down the cooling efficiency. -
Ground Pounder Help
sprkn_ranger replied to aaron_s's topic in Ground Pounders - Earth Shaking and still Driveable!
I've read that the FI Q can handle the lows real well. -
Have you replaced your fuel filter? That can cause it. Also I know it sounds dumb but weight can be an issue, have you put anything heavy in the trunk recently? It takes more horsepower to move extra weight. Also you mentioned you put new spark plugs in, if they aren't capped properly that can make a difference too, even if they are "pre gapped" you should always re gap them to the proper specs cause during shipping and whatnot they can be dropped causing the gap to change.

Ground Pounder Help
sprkn_ranger replied to aaron_s's topic in Ground Pounders - Earth Shaking and still Driveable!
You could do a btl and pair it with an audioque 2200. The btl will take alot more power, especially if it's fully loaded but I've heard good things with that particular combo. -

And feel free to donate some mdf! Haha jk. Congrats on the new job! What's your title gonna be? -
Don't worry about messin up man, it's not that difficult. There are plenty of people willing to help design boxes on the forums and then you can go to YouTube to learn techniques on how to construct it. Plus if you attempt it yourself you can really learn alot in the process and then have pride in your system.

You think this is wrong?
sprkn_ranger replied to Vitacy's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Well to be honest that sounds pretty normal. The bleeding is normal, it's going to be alot. My wife bled for almost a full 24 hours after her first one and a lil less the second one. It totally sucks that they don't seem more concerned in the ER but that's how it was for us too. -

First of all I want to say I'm so sorry for your family's loss, my wife and I have lost two of our own and I know how much it hurts Now to answer your question, from my wifes experience, there is alot of bleeding involved during a miscarriage. How much is safe, well that's hard to say cause I know my wife was discharged very similarly to the way you explained your sister was. I guess if she gets light headed or dizzy, then you should take her back but other than that I don't think there is much to worry about. But it is VERY important she goes back to her gyno on Monday to have her self "cleaned and checked" I forgot the actual medical term for it but if she doesn't have it done I'm told she can become infected severely and hinder her ability to bear children in the future, or even worse she could die from it. I don't mean to scare you but I just wanna make sure your informed. -

rancho cordova tornado

A couple years ago there was a tornado in Moreno valley CA, it knocked over a couple of rail cars. In fact CA averages 5 confirmed tornados a year.
