I have the SHCA ones and I agree, they suck. I mean, they work but the plastic backing is very flimsy and the attachment between the aluminum blocks and the plastic base is weak. I broke 2 of my 8 just trying to tighten things down.

If you want a high paying internship get an engineering internship with Boeing where you are governed by the SPEEA contract. I made $27/hr as a summer intern (zero experience in the field)

tfe's were louder than the 10ks in my buddies Jeep direct swap...louder as in he was doing 160.x sealed with 2 15 SHDs and 2 10ks. The direct swap to the tfes ripped the SHDs to bits, with some nicer numbers as well right before they blew
