Yep..was gonna do a hair trick, but I'm bald...LOL. Leave the subwoofer portion at home and it is VERY portable. I also designed the subwoofer portion to fit perfectly on a fold-able Magna-Cart hand truck.

I've had this project in mind for many years, just recently got around to putting it together. It works great, lasts over 4 hours at HIGH volume with external speakers connected. I'm already planning another build, using plexi and better speakers/wiring/etc. with an 8" integral subwoofer...Stay tuned... Well, actually, I used my first post to show a demo on how to measure RMS wattage?? It just so happens to be on my YouTube channel. If I'm breaking a rule, mods, please remove the thread.

Guys, I'm new to this forum, but and Old School Car Audio nut from back in the day! I've always wanted to find out how much power my amps put out, but never had a way to find out for sure, especially if I didn't have the "birth sheet" or an old magazine with a test. I recently put together a YouTube video demo of my test bench and show off the components needed to measure RMS watt output from your amps. Now, if you have on of those 3k or 5k amps, then you are going to need to invest in some HUGE resistors. Most of my old school amps are <1kw, so my setup works okay for now.
