Do you really think that the people who control world events want to live the rest of their lives like Caligula travelling wherever they like, or like gophers a mile underground stuck in one place?
The cold war was for show only and most of the sabre rattling we see today is the same. At worst we have another proxy war like Vietnam but only if the right people benefit. In short, if nobody benefits it likely won't happen.

Tonight I used regular resin while fiberglassing. I did this because I thought it would be hard to get into the kerfed areas (which it would). So I did it wtihout the top of the box on where SMD SunFlash would have worked fantastic! Even with 3X the catalyst the og resin took forever... Kicking myself now!!

The fellas at US Composites recommended epoxy resin (as opposed to polyester) for better curing if you're not doing traditional fiberglass type projects with it. Aerosil cabosil (SP?) can be mixed in to make it thick too for filling. Try it out sometime for comparison.

I know a couple guys that needed to take bracing/deadening OUT to relieve some pressure on theirs. Also perhaps it only breaks at a certain frequency

Didn't feel like this needs a thread. what size amp fuse do i need? Crescendo 1500.1 at 1 ohm with 1/0 gauge wire. thanks. links would be nice

If you never open a fuse when pushing things hard the fuse will never protect the amp in the event of trouble. Best to start small and work your way up as needed.

120k miles on the Tahoe today. Plan on getting a tune-up (new plugs & wires, filters/fluids) anything else I should make sure gets looked at/changed out? My brother in-law works at a shop down the road so I usually just pay for the cost of parts and he'll knock it out.

Alright, long day ahead of me... hopefully, the temps will be much cooler today...I calculated out some new port lengths and cut some "SPL" ports. Didn't expect to gain much, but any gain is still a gain.I managed to squeeze .26Db more out of the setup running Hardcore with the mic in the kick panel. Not a lot, but considering that I took second last year because of .3Db, it could be the difference between 1st and 2nd.I also managed to gain .76Db sealed over our previous score of 143.7...

LOL. Roof surfing not allowed. I may be able to turn things up more but as it sits I open up fuses and I'm really not trying to over-fuse and break amps today... possibly next week if I can't gain elsewhere tomorrow.
I shall buy some ape tape though, my roll is about empty.

Dont get me wrong id love to have a bunch of cash to drop in on like multiple subs and LOTS of wattage yea it looks cool but dont get me wrong if you know what your doin you can make 2 12s or 2 15s and 1 amp and still get like 150 db or higher like some are gettin with like 6 15s and 10k watts, its just what equipment you have a how the box is built.

Your theory is likely ignoring bandwidth AND the ability to actually play music at high output levels for extended periods of time without breaking things.
Also it ignores the difficulty of increasing SPL after a certain point.

LOL @ fire extinguisher. Actually it's a Taramps 8K.... not sure if that makes you change your mind about the fire extinguisher, but according to the couple threads here they work fine at 14V and at or above rated impedance.
