Cool story bro.

Yes
You need to set the dd-1 with the car off so you can account for voltage drops- 5

I seen those E's do those high numbers when given insane amount of power
Like Skip01 here fed 1 E15 on a Sundown 3500, and did a 148 in his explorer
I was eyeing these for my next subs, this pretty much seals the deal. That is crazy for a single entry level 15"!
I would love to see what you would do with E15's, I'm very impressed with what you did with cheap Lanzar 8's
Thanks man, I appreciate the comment. They are 10's though, not 8's but still just $24 subs (got them on sale at Amazon). I will keep these around until I can at least get them on a meter in the new 4th order, hopefully sometime this spring.
Whoops, thought they were 8's lol, my bad, still a good build for $24 subs for sure

I hear 15 amps because that's what the XS Power charger charges at

You can't actually, especially if the sizes in thickness are different. You experience super levels of sound cancellation.
Does this mean I'm screwed when I have to add more deadener and all I have is old 80 mill Audio-Technix that is not made anymore?

May I have a UBL please?
Build log is 19 pages lol -
I still have my rubber chicken to whack people with lol

great video!
FYI: http://www.wccaraudio.com if you need high quality RCA's ....just wanted to share that info
$50 to $60 for 3 feet. No thanks, I'll keep using what has been working just fine.
While for most, $60 may seem hefty, but for the fact it's tested, and has extremely low impedance compared to most rca's, which is what is very sought after by those looking for the best quality rca's out there, and is actually very cheap compared to the rca's of the same quality, which can cost $1000's of dollars like this one
Plus it's also rude to talk badly about the OP's product in his own section of the forum.
Even though I love my Dayton rca's, if I had the cash, I would not mind getting the high quality D'amore rca's, especially since it's tested before being shipped.
Awesome video by the way Tony, very informative, now I know to look out for proper rca's that an amplifier may ask for.

Yeah, Dicounts jungle on amazon has them, do you trust them? OCS does not have them either even though they are still listed as such.
Hmm, that's odd
Would be a good idea to call Maxxsonics to ask if OCS actually supplies them.

wow! that link to that other MB Quart amp is badass... thanks
Glad I could help, hopefully Sonic supplies it as well

Here's MB Quart's better replacement power wise, it's a step up from the onyx series

Even if you were playing car off, you wouldn't need that much batteries
This van right here has no charging system, and was running 20 16 volt XS Power batteries and 50,000 watts, and was demoing at SBN 2012 all day -
Should give you guys a visit if I ever decide to travel up to Tally.
-
I don't understand the attraction to playing music with the car off
I don't either
-
I've seen that much XS Power batteries power a 50,000 watt van with no charging system.

That's freaking cool as hell man
Though needs a DC Audio logo somewhere on that

Why not just build a proper ported box for 1 Lv 6 18', I seen a couple of builds with sealed off single 18' setups in an Impala, it's possible

Wall, I see working, trunk, no
Box for my Level XL 12''
in DC Sound Lab - Big Bass on ANOTHER LEVEL!

If it doesn't perform well in the lows in a sealed box, and you don't have much space, maybe it would be worth reconing the Lv 3 to a 12' to fit a proper ported box for it to perform the lows to your liking.
