I wish that the coworkers here didn't watch videos all the time. Because they (work) have blocked access to YOUTUBE. So now I can't view any videos that are linked to YOUTUBE. Anyone else have this problem or any other sites blocked at work. Other than the normal xXx sites.... If this is in the wrong section sorry...

I hope to be picking up my Cougar this weekend. It to is a 1999. I was wondering if you could tell me if there is a enuff room for a box that is 6+ cubes cause i am going to be running 12" DD's with a vent opening of 80^in of vent thats 16" long. I plan on tunning it to about 40htz and the amp is an older MA Audio COM 1 6 channel. I will be putting 2500 watts to those babies. I will also be replacing the front and rear speakers with some 6.5" components Clif Designs. I think i need to add a Marine Deep Cycle Battery also. whats your opinion on my future setup

how do i measure a vent when it needs to be longer than the box is deep. vent length 16" box depth inside dimension 16.75"

Alarm In A 1965 Mustang
77-AUDIO replied to 77-AUDIO's topic in Security Center - Car/Home Alarms, devices, tactics, tips....
sorry I posted it wrong. I cant find the wire to cut that goes from the ignition to the start solenoid. So when the alarm is going off the car will not start. this car will not have the autostart option -
In about a month i will be picking up a 1989 Honda Accord Coupe 5 spd. I have already TOLD the Wife that this car will only be a two seater and she has aggreed (she has a new Dodge truck). What I plan on doing is something like steves Honda but shorter I want to be able to see out the back window, if not no problem. My amp will be the monster MA Audio Com 1 from my camry post and the subs are going to 2 15" Kicke CVX's. I want to port the enclosure to about 38 to 43 Htz. I will be wiring the Dual 2 ohm subs in parallel down to .5 ohms at the amp. What I need is dimensions and vent size. the wall can be false just to cover the area that the box doesnt. I want the vent located at or near the bottom, and about 2'-6" to 3'-0" wide. I am also going to use the same idea Steve did for the front of the vent by curving it. I can build sealed boxes all day long but vented kick my donkey.........

i am planning on building a box for 2 12 subs. I am going to have to look for some subs that are not to much. but i was wondering if it is possible to make the vents in the shape of a cross.

I am only putting about 500+ watts to the subs. I have 4ohm subs wired in parallel to 2 ohm.... I reall need to build a better box but right now I have to buy a new alternator my factory 70 amp p.o.s. died... go figure... also installed in the car are 2 sets of Clif Designs 602 components also run off of that amp. it is a 6 channel beast... i will post some new pics later i have to help some one move tonight...
