Its definitely not a phasing issue. I have a 2015 chevy Silverado ltz and ran all my own speaker wire to avoid any in line crossovers and whatever else they add in the bose system. My system is completely independent and ive tried endless amounts of different configurations. I even placed these in my sisters civic with a sq build and they still sounded terrible.

Any recommendations on a new set of speakers that aren't overpriced and insanely underwhelming?

    So who wants a b2 3 way and a reference 4 channel amp? " src="https://twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/72x72/1f602.png">" src="https://twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/72x72/1f602.png">" src="https://twemoji.maxcdn.com/2/72x72/1f602.png">

What you didn't tell us is what kind of vehicle this is.  Many, and I mean many, late model vehicles have all kinds of challenges facing you in the digital domain that must be undone or normalized before installing new gear - equalization contours designed to make $3 speakers sound like $30 ones, fully active systems with each component having a narrow bandwidth of operation and / or delay, multiple position contours overlaid on top one another, etc.  In addition, you could have some impedance mis-matching with your interface which could cause frequency response irregularities, etc.

    So, share a bit more.

He has a 2015 silverado.  Almost the same stuff I have in my 16 silverado. I worked with him over the phone.

between my bad eyes and my sausage like thumbs with years of labor on them, i can't type for shit on my phone haha! Posting from it isn't always a good idea. :D:D *fixed.  Rear leaflet kit OTW haha

I was gonna say. When the wife had hers, I never saw anything called a leaflet

I only rode in it once because when I got out after that I literally fractured 2 vertebrae. It was sold shortly after that 😂

Really, it's all about current over distance and how that affects voltage drop.  Maybe I should build a calculator for such on our web site . . . hmmm . . .

Please do. It would be much appreciated.  Im just a dumb concrete worker and framer and floor installer and plumber.  Electrical is not my forte
