  1. Its not a big fail. Its because why make 2 batteries when 1 fits multiple. Atleast that's my thoughts
  2. Ok well my truck along with a bunch of other vehicles have a 94r. They dont make one. But they have the d4800 for an alternate. Which you have an alternate as well. Xs doesn't have to do anything they dont want to they have other batteries that fit. Use one of those
  3. They are pretty much a copy of the of the unity convertible set. For the price. They are nice. Would I use them in an sq build of mine? No because I'm pretty good with what I like using. But they are nice
  4. This was the trigger for me as well. It's like saying hammered dog shit sounds better
  5. I'd like to know which ID set hes speaking of. And as much as I like cdt, they have many different drivers that get somewhat hard to pair with each other unless you know about them. Higher end ID and rf t1 series ? Please. And this is coming from me a guy that hates dc audio
  6. You know this for a fact? Because they are made by hybrid audio technologies
  7. Quesrion on this. When adding the new mechman did you use the same output on the oem battery distro block for the alternator? In my 16 it's a 175 "fuse" assuming yours is the same. Or did you link it to the spot all the way to the left where the battery hooks into the block
  8. I'm sure this has to do with our little "argument" on insatgram.as well. I'd be up to grabbing a dd1 + and trying it out again. But I have no headunit. So I'll have to figure that out
  9. I may pick some of this up and test it against the sound deadener showdown stuff.
  10. Set everything to flat. Find max distortion at the headunit then at the amps
  11. You have to touch the gains. I have no idea why someone would tell you to not touch the gains
  12. Bose you can use the nav m650. I have non Bose. I'm not even using the oem radio. I dint listen to the radio or xm. So I'm bypassing it. Only used for phone calls. I'm using my dsp with a hi res fiio player as a source unit
  13. You'll see 1 finishing up soon and a second starting right after that
  14. I'll get pictures when redo it this winter. I have a ton of shit laying around. Tru technology amps, subs, sinfoni speakers. You name it I probably have it laying around. If it has to do with "sq" you've never seen me finish a. Build here because I'd get towards the end of a build and lose interest (SPL) it's not my thing and I figured that out. I am working on my white truck right now of you look in the build logs. Slow moving because it's being built for meca extreme so it's not of testing. I will be starting my work truck in a few weeks which will go fairly quick because that's being build for meca stock I'm not really a picture taker for builds I do for other people because it's not my vehicle but I'll take pictures of them from now on. Also they really dont get love here because its not 18s in a 4th order if you understand. But you're right. I'll have some build logs up soon when I redo a few local guys vehicles
  15. They were set up with the passive crossover first. I do not have any pictures. But he brought me 3d printed pods. Mid and tweeter on the a pillars. About 20 degrees off axis. Midbass was in the door stock location. When I first did them we used the passive crossover. Which is what helps kill the set. It's wrong (in my opinion) it crosses the midrange to high and the tweeter to low. I then added a mosconi 6to8 aerospace I had laying around. Ditched the passive. It got better. Much better. But it still wasnt what I was expecting. This vehicle was a 2006 silverado. I then switched them all out with a ppi 3 way set and it all came alive. Didnt even touch the dsp Again, we all have different ears. And differant expectations. These didnt meet my expectations My advice to you take it or leave it is to run them active
  16. We all have opinions. He said pm him and I did. I explained myself. Will they work for you? 100% they will. They just dont work for me
