Just curious how often our u guys changing out your belts on your cars I seem to be going through one every year or less. Just did a Gates belt and new tensior

Depends on what you are asking the belt to do, if its just all stock under the hood with no added load from a high output alt or multiple alts then it should last around 50,000 to 100,000 miles depending or multiple 4 to 5 years if you dont do that kind of mileage.
If you have increased load and are demanding more of the belt you are going to drastically shorten its life.
Also as walledsonic was inferring above if your pulleys are out of alignment that will weat it out prematurely too.

Had the same belt on my dual alts for almost 2 years now.

Bought a another Gates and replaced tensionor hopefully will give more life out of this belt. (probably try good year belts next time have heard there the best. Or Gates HD
Setup is singer 340 xs d3400 - 4xs d3100s on 2 dc5ks @1.3 each
Sq4100 and sk85.4 I beat on my system daily
