Thanks man! Sure moves for a 4 banger. Already has factory kicker system. Not bad for 100 watts on a sub in a plastic box lol. I managed to get to your photo bucket this morning so have to catch up on your log. I will post pics when she's worthy, Been neglected by poor wash and wax techniques.

right on man.. glad you picked up a nice ride and has a decent enough system in it. I have a bunch of photo's to load up on my Lancer in the next few days so you can check it out then. Hows the Neon build going?

So far they're holding up great. Been almost a year now on the high and low beams. I had a slight issue with tony c's HRK5 kit, and learned that my factory body/frame grounds aren't good anymore, so I need to upgrade those. He says it's common on GM vehicles for the body grounds to fail and no longer be grounds.

My wife hates how much time I spend working on the Tahoe, because I'm always changing something, but she understands it's what I like doing. I try to only do it while she's not home though.

Right on man, glad there holding up on you. My Lancers always in the garage ready to work on but i do the same. Work on it when my wife is gone most of the time too.

It was a complete bitch. I will never attempt to pull it and put it back up by myself ever again. I struggled with it for an hour before I finally got it back up once I realized I didn't have enough for everything.

I feel for ya man. Super bitch by yourself and you had all the room in the world with the interior out. Even my Lancer was a bitch, especially getting it in and out of the car alone. Plus you don't dare fuck it up! I plan to strip the Malibu one day and do the good stuff like you did. Someday! lol

  4. Yes very good lesson that i know i have learned the hard way and had to keep going back into area's to redo or change up. Glad the damp pro is a great product, some day i will up my game and get some real good deadener like that. Probably when the wife hands down the Malibu and i do 90 percent coverage in the interior.

Keep the pics coming tuned in to see how the progress is going.

  5. Progress on your build is coming along nicely. Tear downs are a pain but so worth the gains once done. Keep up the good work man.

Damn man, that thing is going to be solid as f...! Great job on deadening! I can't where gloves while applying to the doors, i need to be able to use all my feeler's to get it right. Down side is many many cuts but always worth the blood, sweat and swearing! lol

  6. Nice score on the screw. I hear ya on the Pillars. Having trouble committing to position right now so i put them away to work on the Lancer. Tuned in for how your Pillars turn out.

    Thank you :)

I think as far as positioning goes, I'll probably end up positioning them similar to how dolarbillz did for his and ToNasty's pillars, but I do want to test it before I actually get to work on them. Figure out what angle I want and how high or low on the pillar. My mind say put them high so they're less in the way for driving since it's my daily, but my ears say put them where they sound best ;)

From what i have read the lower on the windshield the better, but i think you definitely have to play with positioning for what sounds best to you. I am stuck right now so i put it away until i am committed and dive in.
