    Beauty of those speakers is amazing. Gonna have a killer front stage when it done. Dash and gauges look great. Keep up the great work.

    Thank you! I can only hope to have my front stage look and sound as good as yours and many other members do. I have a lot of work to do in order to get it there. My next "major" purchases will be everything needed for proper deadening, which should have been my first step when I bought the Tahoe.

    Your welcome, Having that equipment would be way exciting to fab shit up for cause you know its gonna sound killer. And YES, if you had the sound deadening you could be working on it now. Prepping for shit down the road, the flow of progression. I am slow but i still get shit done. lol

    Yes that tells me you don't know car audio, I owned lots of 4ch amps and this opti 250x4 is the best so far.. The only downfall is the size. It's like almost 3ft long so if space is an issue,it's not the amp for you, but if u want a powerful clean amp this is the amp you want.

    Gotcha, I will alter my opinion to match yours from now on. Thanks for the insight.

    I guess to make everyones life easier i will follow Mr Skippy. Selling all my high dollar shit for Lanzer equipment. Boy there stock is going to go thru the roof if everyone falls in line. lol

    Yes, your right. No body knows what they are talking about on this website but you. Its all opinions here, if you think that amp is the bomb then we are all happy for you. Others like what they like for a reason. I personal fell in love w/ RF products in the late 80s early 90s. Are there other brands i would run... you bet. Lanzer not being one of them unless it was free and even then i wouldn't.

    OP asked suggestions and like one member said, great choice in subs but why skimp on the amp? Each his own, but i have seen you slam this forum before and for a new member thats not cool. If you have valid points in why that amp is so good explain yourself without the slams. Might get you farther. Just saying.

    Put it on the term lab already

    what purpose would that serve? putting a termlab on a speaker box on the garage floor would not produce any sound pressure worth talking about. Maybe right near the port but that is lame too.

    I feel for you Steve and understand what your going thru to a certain degree. I am proud that you are man enough to post such personal experiences on here and to have feed back from members to help understand and deal with it.

    When i was 5 yrs old my dad left, i didnt not know him and only have a couple memory's of him. He worked in the oil industry and traveled the world searching for oil reserves. My siblings always seem to have taken him leaving good. I say that because they grew up well and have good lives.

    Thank god my mom met and remarried a man that was the only father i have ever know. A wonderful man that has supported me thru all my troubles in life. Being sober the last 6 years and in my mid 40's i to forgave my sperm donor years ago, over the phone also. I did it for closure in my life and that horrible chapter of self destructiveness for a multitude of reasons. Ok so maybe i had daddy issue's, maybe daddy didn't care because daddy wasn't there.....lol Austin Powers moment!

    I have no relationship with him, not sure how i would know if anything where to happen to him. I feel pity that a man could walk away from 4 kids and there mother and never pay a dime, or more importantly have a relationship with them. A sad human being IMO.

    Thank god there are good men out there like my dad who took 4 of us in as his own and had another son with my mom.

    So i think its ok to not feel sad Steve. comes a time in your life when you just move on. You understand, but move on.
