I have over 30 orders from them and don't even want to figure out the total I've spent with just them. My first purchase was for over $2K. Needless to say I'll continue using Sonic as my first go to source. Customer service is amazing,I usually only call a rep named Kyle Ellison ext. 2555 to make all my orders.

It was $400 for the pre-order Idk what happened to that but then the listed map price was $420 I think

I got a C-tek 7002US years ago on Amazon for about $120 I think and it works great. I still use it now on my D3400, D1200 and my older Optima yellow top,charges at 14.4V on normal mode(average car battery) and 14.8V on snowflake mode(AGM/GEL batts).

So what are you using? Is it just the D3400's doing this? That's the only one I've read about this happening on. Mine made a hissing noise one time but seems to be doing just fine now. but I can't see much of mine because I have a battery heat wrap on it.

call them first thing in the morning and get an RA#,you'll more than likely get it handled faster than waiting for someone from XS to see this. My 3400 made a hissing noise one night after I had been driving,I'm starting to wonder if there's a problem with the D3400's and heat. I have a battery wrap on mine to keep the heat down but it was on it when the battery was hissing so IDK.. I try to check mine often because of that,my D1200 in the back has had no problems though. Nice setup btw.. I'm wondering how much space between and how you mounted those amps but I'll see it in your BL.

Any reason these are discontinued. Also, what are they being replaced with? I see you guys still have the dual 2 ohm version, but it's OOS.
I don't think they're discontinued,it says they're out of stock-on backorder.

I took advantage of the sale,just made a $317 order last Friday and got it today. Box was beat to shit by UPS which is rare around here but there was nothing fragile in it so all is good.. This makes about my 30th or more order from SE between the site and Ebay so I did get a little break on the price by Kyle,I always call him when I need something. The CS is top notch at SE no matter who I've talked to.. Keep up the great CS and you'll go another 13 years and then some...

Biggest battery you can fit and measure first like was already stated..You'll also get a better deal if you order through Mechman or possibly XS Power themselves since you're a SMD member. I got a much better price for mine from Mechman alternators than anywhere else
