Slowly making progress. Got one door almost done with body filler. Last coat of filler is drying now and then it will be ready for vinyl. Then to do it all again on the passengers door. Lol. Also, got two sets of soundqubed super tweets installed. Will have to wait till it's light out to get a good pic of those. But here's the one door thats almost ready for vinyl.

Looks good so far. Also your lucky you can still use sunflash where your at lol
Why wouldn't you be able to? It was about 20 degrees when I did that door and it worked out pretty good. Does it not work well in the cold?

Still waiting on more ca glue so I can stretch the fabric over the passenger door. But I figured I'd start to fiberglass the drivers door while I wait. Got the resin laid down, cured, and then laid down the first layer of fiberglass. And I must say. I will NEVER buy a two part fiberglass resin ever again. The SMD Sunflash is so amazing. Can work on it however long you want, bring into sun, and it's set! Can't wait for these to be finished and playing!!!

Made a little bit of progress on my doors today. Got the rings all mounted and glued to my panels. Test fit was very tight. There's barely any room behind the speakers, and between the speakers and seats. But I think I'll be able to get them to fit. Too late regardless! Now just gotta find a good way to stretch the fleece. But I'll save that for another day.

well i guess you can chalk it up to how people learn? Hopefully you figure out what was wrong exactly (sounds like you did)
At least I can get more reconing experience. Lol. What it seems like is one of the polarities of the coils were reversed. I put each coil on a dmm and they were all fine. But thinking one was reversed. Wasn't anything I did wrong. So he said he will make a new one for me. On a positive note, it was quite loud with 1 working sub. Lol

Depends on how fast I can find some hdc4 motor and baskets, and get recones for them. Plan is 4 of the custom hdc4 15's on 4 3500's. I have all the amps, two of the 4 subs, got another Q4.90 for mids n highs, and I got 3 more sets of mids to put in.
Next step is start on door panels for 4 6.5's in each. Got everything to do that, so may get started on that soon excited to try the sun flash

Good advice above. You I'll need to run new speaker wire from your amp, to your speakers. The only thing going to your amp from your head unit is the RCA's and remote turn on.

Nice man! Never got a chance to re-meter before you needed a recone?
SMD goodness looks nice under there, clean...
No I didn't get a chance to re meter. Blew one before I got to it. I'll Meter both drivers and passenger side when I get my recones in.
And thank you! Love the look!! Can't wait till I wall to get room to display the 8 spot one looking at buying a third car for a daily driver. That way that frees up my blazer to go all in. B pillar with 4 hdc4's and 4 3500's is the plan. Won't become reality for a while. But it's coming sooner or later

Ports on the wrong side may hurt you a little. If you ever get a chance to meter again try the sensor on the driver side dash (instead of passenger side dash).
I'll give it a try. Thanks!
