I was told by them 2 or 3 days tops I would be contacted by the warranty department, so 3 days is not a number that I just felt was the dead line or something. Just basically wondering is this normal for sonic? No omg I'm going to kill my self over this because its been sitting at sonic 3 days damn I just think once you give a customer a time frame tell them something that's all.what is the point of any of this? You just wanted to let us know that 3 days is too long?
I am sure if you have a little patience they will sort everything out for you

Right? lol if you are a man like you say you are you wouldn't be crying about a lil 2 channel that has been gone for 3 days for repair

Sonic sucks they sent me a free sub for being an SMD member and Rockford Sucks cuz they beat the shit out of my subwoofers
and when I sent my Boston GT-2200 away for warranty repair it took over a month suck it up

I have 3 Christmas Trees and a bunch of presents. Plus you can boost resources for cheap right now.

Need to finish my box off but I have been having fun slamming this sub!
-
Pieces cut I just need to find time to build

Pioneer D components also come with a 6.5 to 6x8 adapter plate. That's what I used to install my Kappa 6.5's maybe a shop or member would have some laying around?

Anyone get any shipping info? Lol.
Not yet. But since this is a freebie I can wait I doubt it is their #1 priority right now
LOL glad I was not the first person to ask! Not like we are impatient or anything lol, I was playing with Torres today and I think I have a decent enclosure design. I just have to measure my trunk and make a few tweaks and run it past the gurus

Holy Sh*t! I can't believe I actually won a contest finally! I NEVER win these type of things! BIG BIG THANK YOU to Sonic and SMD/Steve for this awesome contest! I can't wait to get my hands on this baby! I have been trying to get motivation to get my build going and this was the boost I needed! Now I gotta find a good box design for this sub that'll get the best performance out of it. If any of the other winners have box design info, I would greatly appreciate any help I can get! And congrats to the other winners as well!
I guess that this will be the reason I post a build log finally. Its gonna be completely different than what I used to have, but life has run me through the ringer the past few years, so really I'm lucky to even have my car still. It'll be a "work with what ya got" build using what gear I've been able to gather while getting back on my feet and going to school. I think I"ll get started this weekend on getting wire ran, and maybe install the amps and some temp subs until I get my new NVX beast!
The optimum box is 1.75-2.75 cubic feet after displacement tuned to 34 HZ.
I am def going for the bigger size on the enclosure and around recommended tuning, maybe even a little higher for my vehicle. Any recommendations on port area? 12-14 per cube?

2. I agree to terms in post #13.
- I have a 2005 Mazda 3i on Falken Explicit 18" wheels wrapped in Falken Tires.
- My audio system consists of a Pioneer DEH-X9600BHS head unit w PAC SWI-PS factory steering wheel interface. Polk DB Tweeters and Infinity Kappa 60.7 Mids up front and Scosche HDX52 components in the rear running off of an Alpine PDXF4. My sub stage consists of a Rockford Fosgate P1000X1D mono-block amp and Rockford Fostgate T1D415 Subwoofer in a 3.10cu/ft net enclosure I designed and built myself with a 6" aeroport tuned to 33hz. For electrical I have the BIG 3 done with SHCA 1/0 CCA and 1/0 run to rear XS Power 750 battery and then Scoche EFX Flux 4 gauge OFC running to the amp.
4. I plan to help promote the NVX name in Hawaii by giving demos of the product to local shops as well as giving in-depth reviews. I will post my build log on SMD and the second website HawaiiCarAudio.net as well as post videos on my Youtube channel to increase recognition for the NVX brand.
