  1. Holy shit. I know, I know people are new to things. But man...  I'm struggling with the on-goins here of late. Please new people, read the rules,  dont just click the tab. Do SOME research before a simple post. Welcome all new ones, but holy shit, help yourself a little and then get deeper please.

It has got pretty lame around her for sure.

And a lot of the knowledgeable memebers seem to have left.

Traffic is slow around here these days too.

  4. Shouldn't an amp that's rattled to death be considered shit quality?

If your box isn't vibrating that much maybe your system just isn't loud enough.

Ive mounted plenty of amps to boxes and never had a single one fail.

Amp is gonna get flexed just like anything else in the car will, dont matter if you mount it to the floor or to the enclosure.

Should be built to withstand that to some degree.

And you're right about reliability I guess in a way because they could for sure build an unreliable piece of junk.

But I doubt that's what they are going to do in this situation.

This engine is not designed for high rpm use, its designed to be a low end torque workhorse.

Its going in a 3/4 ton truck, not a race car.

But you're right, overhead cam engines do have an advantage in high rpm applications but I'm sure you probably know torque output decreases with rpm after its reached its peak.

why stop there, why even have cams at all?

Its possible to build a camless engine with technology that exist right now.

You can highly overcomplicate things or you can build something simple that you know is reliable and works for its intended application.

Simple, reliable, strong, thats what they are after here and i bet they will sell the fuck out of them.

      @snowdrifter

I feel like they know they are going to lack in the perfromance department, they are just trying to get people used to the idea of smaller engines in big trucks and cars so they can eliminate v8's.

A good old fashioned well built v8 is too reliable, they want to make money selling underpowered pieces of garbage that will need repairs all the time.

Some of the shit companies are doing with their engine programs is retarded as fuck.

And they are all causing issues for themselves.

The dumbest shit right now is that stop start garbage in my opinion.

Gotta be hell on those poor little starters.

No vids or anything yet, they haven't even released any numbers on it yet, they said they wont do so till fall when they come out in the 2020 f250 and f350.

All they have aaid is its going to be a 7.3 big block pushrod v8, which is about as murica as it gets.

When you think about it hiring a plumber means youre paying another man to handle your pipe.

      Congrats on the gayness.

I scored a nice set of tires last year on amazon for less than $200 after discounts and using my points.

Its like making a deal with the devil though because they are an evil corporation, but they make my life so much easier since I have little to no time to shop in the real world.

  18. Applied for an IT Support Engineer position at Amazon a few days ago. I've heard that they can be pretty slow at responding so here in a few days i'll hit up the warehouse and talk to them in person. This job would provide a great opportunity for me so here's to hoping I get a chance!
