I just don't understand... their job is to lift random shaped and weighted objects. How fucking hard is it to pick up a heavy rectangle. Did they not think they would have to lift heavy things?
same way that a moron cant look at a menu screen and make my meal the way i requested it! always plan for the unknown, dont leave the responsibility up to someone else. when doing ANYTHING in life, before you sign off on it....ask yourself....what can i do to improve!!
-
holy hell man why'd you sign for it??? now they probably won't do a thing cuz you were at the residence. but was that all that was in the box for packaging? I would have built a small crate around it to make damn certain it couldnt be touched.
anytime i ever ship a sub i comepletely pack it in foam, 1 inch thick all 6 sides. and shape it around the motor and cone. that way it CANT shift. that foam shit i saw in those pics look haphazard at best. just my .02

why i like DC.....
i had been running RF since the Series 1 days. amps and subs back in 92. when I get to world finals level with my ALL fosgate car, that I paid for all the equipment, I blew a T2 two weeks before the show. I rushed the sub back to RF and wait patiently for the new one. (I had been in contact with them letting them know the seriousness) With 2 days left, I call agin and they hadnt even processed it yet, but they were looking at it on the shelf. I get hooked up with Rusty,, He builds me 2 subs that were equal to the power of the T2. and I have them the next day still wet. I put them in the car and the sound quality of his speakers were better IMO than the T2 and also a little louder. FOR HALF THE $$$. also at that first wf on the west coast, he brought enough spares for each compettiter if they blew one during the meet. Rusty always has time to talk to all customers, or people just looking, and feels more like a friend or close relative than a business owner. emails get answered timely. and product so far has held a good reputation for performing as advertised or superior. Because of this type of reputation I will stay with DC till any of those pros become cons. I will also be trying his amps out this year. To see if they can really deliver for me. __---Yes there may be cheaper out there or more powerful, maybe even more reliable? but what manufacturer has all 3. including the customer service? Thank you Rusty for the last 4 1/2 years.

im headed out to arkansas driving the I40 the whole way from california. im looking to maybe bring a rifle back with me. I like long distance bolt action style shooting. something accurate at least 300yrds. 500 would be great. i want a good scope etc, 30-30, 308, maybe even the right 223, and definately not something that has been introduced to DOJ. so if someone has something affordable laying around and you are on my way???? send me an email with the price description and picture. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817709011
each one of these can do a stable 300 watts of current, and for the price, buying 4-10 of them isnt that bad.
or this
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817709019
can do 250 watts stable, for $5 less. $0.10 per watt isnt bad at all.
and lastly
those computer supplies only give 25 amps at 12v. that is not much at all. and is that 25 amps under a load or free-floating? just like everything elso...you get what you pay for.

get a regulated power supply and batteries. no risk of going over 14 volts. a battery charger can and will if left on. power supplies are what are used in stereo shops for the displays and are on 24/7. the bigger the better. I use a 90 amp supply as a trickle charger for my vehicals just to maintain them or at show between runs etc.

Are you going to be able to get terminals for 3/0 wire? That would be a major reason I wouldn't go with wire that big.
if you are at a welding supply retailer they will have lugs for any size wire they carry. useally up to 4/0. but do yourself a favor and ask if they have them in bulk on the back shelves. cost less than the little 1 or 2 packs that are on the racks up front. also get a 2lb spool of solder. those lugs hold alot.

yep thats the pills ill be on. told me it was basically a heart attack of the lungs. there will be remaining damage to the lung tissue just do not know how muchSucks about the lung clot. I've had 4 embolisms now and have to take the coumadin pills for the rest of my life. Hope it works out for you, get well.
-
thanks to all...i'm actually typing from the hospital now. i was home for less than 2 weeks after the surgery and had to go to the emergency room sat morning because of lung pain. tests located a blood clot in my lungs, so now it will be a week of shots. weekly blood checks and pills for 6 months. re check to see if it went away. as for the neck....that was part of the original injury it was just a pain that went away so we only focused on the back. well after the surgery i had nueropothy in my left arm from my elbow to the fingertips.(extreme pain pins and needles) couldn't even use the hand to hold a piece of paper for 3 days. so they did a cat-scan on my neck and found a buldge on a cervical disc. don't know at this time if we are going o knife that one or not. depends on my comfort level. hope to be in the comfort of my home and family today.

okay kinda noob question if theres 2 15s in a car with trunk compared to the exact same setup in a 2 door hatchback how much louder would the hatchback be? same box same amp etc etc. lets say the car with trunk hit a 147 on tl how much more would the hatchback hit? 2 dbs more? more or less? i know it will be louder just dont know how much louder. its a ported box. i feel like a
there are too many variables to get an honest non-biased response to the question. fact being you could have the exact same 2 vehicals with the same setup and go to taco bell in one and burger king in the other and your meter readings will be pizza
