you dont pay attention to STREET-A class in db drag do ya? Ana i guess you need to stop listening to all that sq in your carThe question is what does it sound like? Will it still sound like a normal 10 and have nice tight bass or will it sound more like a 12? You generally get 10s for sound quality not SPL -
give it a little time and save up some money, pretty sure it will be a topic to be recognized when it releases. on a side note with the question how much is the weight?? lets just say that its not far from being named "The Rustyhamma"I spy Rusty...common what are we all seeing here, and how do we buy it? -
take a 5 gallon bucket fill it up about 6 inches with lead. let dry and remove. that is how big it isIam trying to visualize how large these motors are, I see in the first pic its a 4" coil, but the second pic, same one right? -

good luck getting that under to bed cap, i would make up a mock up sub with a basket and wood for a magnet for test fittind during construction. so you dont have any surprises when you go to lift the heavy one in there. just easier . im doing the same thing with a 10 for my car. sub is heavy and clearance is slim so why fight a heavy sub over and over while building

easy rule... if you hit it with a sledge hammer and it flexes it cracks...MAKE IT STRONGER
-
dowl made of wood...allthread made of steel that can be snugged up a bit. which is betterBoth are great but i would think dowl would be stronger there for more effective. Its what im going to use for my wall. -
hey steve have you ever seen thisbraided loomin a larger diameter? i think it is pretty cool looking

that is alot much to much for daily use. with les port you have more "control of the subs" which will improve the longevity. 12-16 per cube sounds about right, a few slot boxes i had were built a little more towards the spl side of life but daily and they were 17 cubes with 200 inches of port. my bow for 6 fifteens has less than that. 30 per cube sounds more like a "burp box" ratio to me.i have 30 inches of port per cube lol... it works fine in my application121 inches of port.. four cubes
-
36-40 cubes is alot. there should be no reason if built right that with that power that you couldnt get a high 40 to low 50 system with less box(about 20-30 cubes ) unless you are goin to do a BP. then it can be bigger

looks like he did do the fronts and just run a rake along the ground he will never knowI want one Now upgrade the fronts -
simple to explain also with the exhaust/window thing it is all to do with the resonant frequency of an object and producing enough amplitude to get it going so the less dense the object the easier to get a responseyeah, that was the fist thing I saw...I'm not sure how credible that is at this point. Impressive...but I could beat it down with some physics, lol but I wont. -
i always liked the truck better personally. i do believe it was 20 subs and 10k

im always worried about low low prices do your research and dont just jump at a kikller deal. and just because its at a shop doesent mean the work is good. remmber in most cases you get what you pay formy buddys shop will do it for 600 that include your box fiberglassed and installed -
boot is about 120 and a few hours work maybe more depending on the cab...but depending on the extent of the box i could see mysels charging someone else 1500-2k to do a blowthrough. anyone want to buy a box already made ill sell for $500 :zorro:yeah my local shop wants $600 just for the labor of cutting the hole and putting the boot in... i would still have to pay for the boot
