  1. So has this forum gone dead???? Is there any one here that cares about sound quality at all??? Does anyone here give a flying fuck about listening to music??? I have a controlled environment. Kicker ZR1000 verse Rockford Fosgate Power 1100a2 aka 500.2 RF 1100 fails miserably So you have 2 amps equally rated. Both sound amazing except the RF1100a2 gets hot and has absolutely no ass on the bottom end. The test say that the RF 1100a2 produces more power. When you run bookshelves for testing purposes and you can feel the bass and clarity vs not feeling anything from a more powerful amplifier. Kicker old school is incredibly much better. What really blew my mind was the Kicker ran cooler than the Fosgate. In theory the Kicker should have ran a lot hotter
  2. If it helps, I want to know why I prefer my ZR1000 over my $2000 Harman Kardon HK 990 intergrated amp on a set of bookshelf speakers. I only hooked up the ZR1000 for testing purposes and surprisingly was blown away by it's impact and sound quality. I never dreamed that 2 five and a quarter woofer's could be so powerful when I supposedly was running them with more power than the ZR1000 had to offer. ELAC UNIFI BOOKSHELF originals. 1.0
  3. I want to know what the Kicker ZR1000 you tested can do at 4 ohm into 2 channels. 8 ohm bridged divided by 2 should be 4 ohm stereo. After all it is a sound quality amp. By today's standard wouldn't it make more sense to use that amp for a component set and a class D amp to run subs??? If you are going to be in a hostile (car audio) environment then you need extreme amounts of power to enjoy your music at a moderate or normal listening level without distortion and background noise. I would like to know what the ZR1000 can do at 4 ohm stereo. PLEASE
  4. So you are already familiar with it and you still don't feel that that is too much power to work with?
  5. The way wattage and frequency works out I have a feeling that that amp is still going to shoot your cones off of your baskets. Man be proud of those amps because not only are they bad ass they are me dream set of amplifiers if money was not an object. I hope it works out the way you want it man.
  6. God dang 340 watts x 4 give or take a few what a fucking beast. Now that amp was designed to make a statement Thanks for posting that up for me. What exactly are you going to power with it and are you going active or passive?
  7. Hey man Would you put up a shot of the birth sheet for the T1000.4AD. I'm loving that amp but I have a feeling that it might be too balzie for me. I*'m thinking I will need the 800AD. Buy the way I love your amps
  8. LOL what exactly is the point of this thread. Don't people usually post pics to show off or ask questions. Why the fuck would I ask you questions about YOUR T2500.1
  9. Since my camera was stolen how would you handle it if I could not get you any pics of my amp. or if we make an agrement give me a couple days to find a camera. Yes I have so few friends that I don't have access to a cell phone camera.
  10. Is the T1500 a CP amp and does it come with a bass knob? Did you buy it new and do you have a birth sheet? I need to know the 2 ohm rating. What are you willing to do on a SAZ1500v2. I love mine but would consider a trade just because I like RF amps the most. Mines in mint condition, no scratches accept around the screw holes and I'm still not sure if I will trade but would think it over for 24 hours. If it is a CP, I get first dibs.
  11. I do not recommend tuning below 40 hertz for the 8 inch L7. You will loose a shit ton of output if you tune lower that that. What you already is close to perfect and if you want to change it that stay between 38 and 45 hertz.
  12. I would say Rockford Fosgate. If ran at 1 ohm it should have a more consistent amount of output power which should be noticeable for sound quality and I feel that the Rockford should have better overall sound quality with less distortion. I run both RF and Sundown and I really like both but if I could own only one Class D amp and had to choose between the two companies, I would choose RF.
