Hey guys, I am new to this forum and would appreciate all the feedback I can get! Decided to go with sundown because of all the positive reviews and great community! Anyways I want to build something that will give me the bump I am looking for in my daily driver. I had 2 15 kicker l7s previously with rated rms. This will be for a 2012 chevy Tahoe with alot of room to work with. After tons of research I have decided I really like the X series. I am thinking about ordering 2 x15's with an either sundown4000.1 or the skar 4500.1 (little cheaper) (student loan life) and building a custom ported box to spec. Now with it tuned correctly and installed correctly, do you guys recommend upgrading electrical for this set up? All feedback is greatly appreciated, and suggestions are welcomed. -
Owned by @Dannys Rosenberger and located in Germany....All i can say is this is probably the best collection and display of classic/vintage car audio i have ever seen. This video is a must see! The MUSEUM is a must see! I hope i can soon! He just invited me on FB I really wish Germany wasn't so far away, but someday i hope to see it! If he posts more video's i will post those here too. First time posting in this thread. Looking for a reliable hard pounding card audio system for around $1k. It is for a chevy Tahoe. So far I am considering getting a pair of Sundown Audio 12" 750W Dual 4-Ohm with the sundown audio 1500.1 or going with the skar audio 2000.1 monoblock (200$ cheaper). Will custom build the box accordingly and have a solid aftermarket head unit. Does this sound like a good set up for someone looking to get some extra bass from using a pair of L7s in the past?

I'm trying to determine enclosure specifications for a pair of 12" ZV3's for my car. Planned power is a pair of SCV-3000's strapped at 1-ohm. I've never had the opportunity to play around with any Sundown drivers bigger than the SA Series. I did just finish a box for my girlfriend's X-12 which called for a considerably larger enclosure than what I am used to for your average 12" driver but wasn't sure if the rest of their mid-to-upper lines all preferred larger enclosures. Their website recommends 2.0ft^3 per, but i'm also putting more than 1500 watts to them. Note: I have already searched the forum to no avail. Any help is appreciated! -

Alrighty, figured I would just start a build thread in the Skar Audio board. This one is gunna take a while to get done, but that is what us college students have to do. Anyways, this is going to be a full skar audio build up, planing on doing skar components in front, coaxials in the back, 1 Skar SK 1500.1, and 2 Skar VVX v2 15"s in a ported box. Going to be tuned at 31hz. All home built/installed and self designed box. Just a good setup in a car that you wouldn't give a second look.

I plan on buying 4 SA-8v2s 4 ohm to go behind the seat of my single cab F250, I was wondering Which amp I should buy to give them a good 800 - 1k watts ea and how should I wire them. I don't have much experience with systems so any extra input would be appreciated. -
Somebody enlighten me on this, I have two SA-8's that need to be reconed. Can I order recone kit's for them and also buy two SA 12 baskets and convert them from SA-8's to SA-12's? Thanks -
does anyone know when a new version of the sundown e-12s are coming out or the sa-12 looking to get some but would wait if a new version is coming soon thanks guys

I'm trying to buy some recones for a pair of SA woofers and I having a lot of trouble getting a hold of Sundown to purchase the recones Does anybody know of a quick way to get a hold of them? I've contacted and talked to a couple SA dealers in DFW area (Texas) and I've sent a couple of emails over a period of about 2 weeks. And I realize there busy but it's just a little frustrating..

I'm replacing the power and ground in my car to 0 awg and plan on doing the big three upgrade too. I'm on the fence on choosing which brand to buy though. EXO from YouTube talks Audio Technix so I checked there site and I am guessing 20 feet will be enough to run from the battery to the back seat and maybe the big three too. But I can get 20 feet of 0 awg power wire from Audio Technix for $70 but I also did some looking around and found Cadence 0 gauge on AudioSavings which is $50 for 25 feet. I just wanna buy the right stuff. Help.

I recently screwed myself out of a deal and need a new amp. I've been looking around and came across the Sundown SAZ-2500D. (I have an Orion HCCA 12). I just wanted to know what the forum thought about this amp on this sub. I bought a nice sub and I don't want a cheap amp that's why I choose Sundown for an amp, I plan to do this the right way.
