Anyone able to identify the brand of this subwoofer? Cone cap on it and I have no idea. Guy said it was a 4000w. Another buddy said that he thought he knew but wasn't sure. The 2400.1 d Zues bangs the shit outta it but my question is before I upgrade to a bigger amp I would like to know exactly what its rated at. It bangs in my mountianeer! I'm wanting to get at least 1 more them or 3. Gotta start somewhere aye. -
I want to get new subs for my car. I have decided between these subs. The alpine type r 12 and the sundown sa 12. I will be getting the 2 ohm model and 2 subs. The alpine type r is 1000watts rms but a sa12 is only 600 rms. I want the louder subs. So would 2 type rs at 2000watts rms be louder than 2 sa12s at 1200watts rms???? I've seen videos on YouTube that people push the sa 12 over 1000 watts rms. I would be using my subs daily so if I got the sa 12s would I be able to give them 1000 watts each and have them not blow up?? For the amp I would get a Hifonics x2200.1 d 950watts @4ohms this amp has 2 channels so I would wire one sub to 4ohms then connect it to one channel then the same with the other sub. <---- would this work????? Money isn't a issue and I can afford both of the subs and amp. I just want the louder subs with good sound quality. Also I want the ones that would produce louder lows(don't have room for 15s) -

I was wondering if anyone can shed some light on this, my friend has a Hifonics BRZ1200.1 and wants to trade my audiopipe ap1500d for it. Would this be a good idea or not? As of right now I cant go down to 1ohm with my subs so I'm stuck at 2ohm's until i upgrade my subs, so I wouldn't be losing too much power at 2ohms. Anyone think this would be a good idea to trade? -
This is what happens when you try to record loud music with a phone. The entire system is being run off of a hifonics 5 channel amp. This is my first system and build. I am in high school so i do not have much money so everything comes in installments. I have it pretty much close to being done. System includes:(2) AQ SDC2.5 15 d4 (1) hifonics hfi1500 (1) kicker 550.2 (temporary for front speakers) (1)shuriken BT-20 battery (1) 20FT strand of kicker 0 gauge (2) EFX distrobution blocks (1) kciker afs/anl fuse block (1) kicker 200 amp fuse (2) RF prime 6x8's (1) RF prime tweeters (2) streetwires zn1 rca's(speakers) (1) streetwires zn9 (sub) 80+FT of EFX 14 gauge wire HU- sony mex-bt39uw about 3FT dynamat/expansion foam (1) volt meter Other mods done to my car: (1) ledglow multi color led's under front dash (2) cupholder lights (1) satellite radio (3) switches for led's and cupholder lights Sketchup of my box [/img] Got me some wood!(no homo) [/img] [/img] Angles were tough to screw together [/img] Got one on!
