okay so could anyone help me with a six order for this sub. It’s 1 12 so I don’t think size should be an issue I have a whole trunk Hey guys so I have 1 sundown nsv3 12 on a crescendo 3k in a 2008 Acura TL type s. I was wanting to get some help in building a design for it. I’m currently running my 3ft^3 box at 27hz slot port but I’ve noticed all the 150+ db builds have aero ports in the drivers side of the box and subs facing forwards or backwards. Kinda want to see want you guys think and I’m very open to trying 6th orders as well they just seem complicated Still need to get my 370amp alternator and 48 ah headway hooked up with 2 runs of 0 gauge so don’t mind the 4 gauge splitter lol

So i made an earlier thread and decided to just make a single larger aeroport. originally it was a puny 4" with a shit rigged set up. so i went to Lowes and picked up a 2' tube of 6" PVC pipe and here's the difference. now the green PVC is just the left over pipe and the rest is of course installed. i had a 40"x16"x16" box, and a gross with displacement an overall ~4.5ft^3 box. now with that puny 4" this called for a 4"x~4.5"(35Hz) aeroport. this was horrendous with port noise and low output. i changed out to the 6" which called for a 6"x~14.5"(32Hz) aeroport and it made a world of difference. it was much louder on lower volumes, and before i could only feel the bass in my hands when they were vibrating with the rest of the car. with the 6", i can literally feel my throat caving in(not really) and my ears having sharp pain. now this was just a box upgrade(doing the Big 3 upgrade with 0AWG and a Kinetik HC1800) but it was felt almost twice as loud!!

alright i have 2 options for what i can do with the box, 1. 3.94 cubic feet @ 32 hz with 3 4" wide areo ports= about 37 inches of port area 2. 3.54 cubit feet @ 34 hz with 4 4" wide aero ports = about 50 inches of port area Can anyone explain pros and cons of either, weaknesses and strengths. SPL or for trying hairtricks? and i can tune the amps subsonic frequency 7 below the box tuning or is it 3?

Looking at putting 2 15" Rockford p3's in my car, my trunk space is limited, I'm thinking about going with this simple design with some cheap pvc ports to the side, it should sound fine I would think since the trunk is a pretty sealed enclosure itself, but I was thinking of having the subs facing upward w/ ports facing the rear, any input would be helpful, any ideas? Thanks My trunk space: H-17", W-37", D~40" [or] H-14", W-46", D~40" (lower height would squeeze under the trunk levers or w/e they are called...) Here's a possible design: Box: H-17", W-36", D-22" (tuned @ 28hz w/ port length of 4"x14")

I have 2 15" AB HD's in a 8cubft box in the back of my blazer with the slot port facing up and the subs inverted and me and my buddy DAN have been arguing, he thinks i should put the subs non-inverted and turn the box so the port is facing the hatch, he thinks i will get one or two DB's by doing this so i figured i would ask my SMD family what they think...........WELL??????
