small update, since Im just sitting here waiting for the contractions to get more frequent and stronger I decided to work on the car.

new side piece cut to the angle of the rear seats

Posted Image

checkin to see how much of a gap I have in the opening.

Posted Image

took that all out because now the box can be built outside of the car.

took some more measurements and cut the other side panel and the rear panel.

Posted Image

Posted Image

now if you look closely you can see some lines on the rear baffle, any ideas on why I made those lines?

Posted Image

more later.

David

^^^Beat me to it but I'll add this:

You making them funny extra lines cuz you wanna use some of the glass "that I(me) like to use"..as quoted by GP2K2 talkin bout my plexi fetish.

And hooooraaaay Plexi!

You gonna have some sexy ass-ends of them RE subs, might as well get em some backdoor action.

Bring it.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)

hahahaha, yea I have been workin on it off and on all day, I dont have no 12's yet, they should be here on Wednesday along with a new batt.

I will post some pics of what i have been doing later, nothing is assembled yet, I am affraid if I do assemble it the subz wont fit or something, like mags hitting the bottom of the box or something, it would be my luck.

hard to get fully into it when you know your wife can go into full labor any minute.

ok some updates.

the box is screwed together, no glue yet, just a dry fit.

this is the front face obviously, it is double layer 3/4 mdf.

I tried to design it so I could interlock the pieces so I wouldnt have to use any 2x4's for bracing, this should be hella strong.

in the car.

I almost have to leave that opnening on the top other wise, he wont be able to open one side of the seat, that strap hanging down releases the drivers side rear, not sure what i am gonna do about it yet.

Posted Image

this is the window opening, juest a test piece to see if I like the size of it, I want to beable to show off those sexy Mag's

Posted Image

Posted Image
