I've seen some youtube videos of people who put them in the b pillars near the roof and it doesn't look right our sound right.

B pillars would be the ones towards the middle of the car right?

behind the drivers door.

Nobody really wants to do that because it defeats the purpose of proper staging.

You want your car to sound good right? Then dont do it.

When you are at a concert, the band is in front of you, not right behind your ear.

Yes they are not blowing very high frequencies right into your ear canal. It will destroy your hearing

No to mention time alignment, one would be like 6-10inches for your ear the other 3-4feet.

ahhh yes! that was the wording i was looking for....just couldnt quite spit it out....

and yeah i've read on another place that it's not an ideal place to put speakers if you want to get Proper Sound Imaging
