I had no place to clamp the wires down so i glued them together and then glued them to the box. This is superglue "jel". Its very thick CA glue.......

7am is pretty early considering i had at LEAST 7 shots of Patrone last nite and was up till 1:30. I couldnt help it i had hoopty on the brain and had to get out there and start the dash.

Ok i tore the center console a new A-hole to get the carputer in......its DEEP inside but still somewhat accessable. I dont have any pics since im not done but i DID fire it up.......man its so sick i want to puke right now

Icing on the F*cking Cake!

Rockford 3sixty.2 everything adjustable on the touchscreen.........quite possibly the sickest thing in the truck!!!

ok i spent the day gettin the PC itself dialed in, configuring COM ports for the 7 USB devices that are plugged in was a pain but it all works great!! I got the Navi and the OBD II Scanner working........also, since the built in DVD player (on the PC) is buried i decided to grab a External DVD player. I wanted to mount it in the dash but its just a little too deep......besides the console doesnt have any more room once the Alpine gets here. Anyway its accessable INSIDE the center console now. It will only be used probably........ummm never Its there in case programs need to be installed and stuff like that. Anyway here is the pics.

First thing first, the external DVD player needs A/C power to run.........so i grabbed a cigarette lighter power inverter i had layin around (brand new in package, nver used). I ripped it apart, hard wired it, and dedicated it just to the player......

I used EVERY USB port on the computer as well as all slots on a 4 port hub.......definitly lots goin on under the console

There is the actual PC DEEP inside the console I had to straight BUTCHER the hell out of the guts to get that thing in there

got the Navigation working........its so damn sweet. Lots of options on it. For some reason in only took this pic though.

Also, there is still plastic film on the screen.........u can see it pealing a little on the bottom corner. I wont take that off till im done of course.

heres what i got today......Alpine 9965 and a few AI net Items to make the Ipod and computer feed into the deck. It works so damn good!!

FINALLY got to route the RCA, Remote and Cat 5 cable to the console!! (coming from the rear and strung under the truck up into the cabin). Feels good to get that done!
