^IMO, this should be the first red flag. running 3 completely different batteries is probably a bad idea

ive never put much stock into that theory. my 1st set of batteries was a yellowtop, NGT, batcap, and i was borrowing a kinetik. changes all my batteries to kinetik and had no change at all. just cost me a bunch of money.

just my experience.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

so many red flags... the gain is almost all the way up? blindly turning dials? bass boost?

how did you set your gains before you mounted it?

He said bass knob, as in remote gain. At least i'm pretty sure that's what he meant.

Even if his settings are terrible, the only reason why they would be any different would be that he moved them somehow.

i would have to be reminded how the AP amps work. if its a remote gain or remote boost.

AP's run a remote gain.

before i go an take out batts and stuff.

i used to have the batteries wired only from pos to pos then to amp.

but the grounds of each battery in the trunk were on the body of the car.

up front i have done the big 3

but now the pos and negs of each battery are parallel and each batt in trunk also still have a body ground.

could that effect anything

The bats have nothing to do with it, check you wiring and settings.
