How old is it? ^IMO, this should be the first red flag. running 3 completely different batteries is probably a bad idea ive never put much stock into that theory. my 1st set of batteries was a yellowtop, NGT, batcap, and i was borrowing a kinetik. changes all my batteries to kinetik and had no change at all. just cost me a bunch of money. just my experience. tigolbity
take the battery out and see if it still bumps with the 2 if so, then just use 2.. lol
BigPimpin91
so many red flags... the gain is almost all the way up? blindly turning dials? bass boost? how did you set your gains before you mounted it? He said bass knob, as in remote gain. At least i'm pretty sure that's what he meant. Even if his settings are terrible, the only reason why they would be any different would be that he moved them somehow. i would have to be reminded how the AP amps work. if its a remote gain or remote boost. AP's run a remote gain. Quote BigPimpin91's Banging Music
BFF Larry
before i go an take out batts and stuff. i used to have the batteries wired only from pos to pos then to amp. but the grounds of each battery in the trunk were on the body of the car. up front i have done the big 3 but now the pos and negs of each battery are parallel and each batt in trunk also still have a body ground. could that effect anything Edited March 5, 2011 by BFF Larry Quote Team Clearly Louder (MECA)Team DC Audio ++* SELLING the CACTUS SOUNDS K12 for $1550 shipped *++ HMU!!! 3 flips. nollie flips. big flips. hardflips. - steez Youtube Channel My Build Log 95 Bonneville SSE - WALLED/4th Order - ~30 cubes - *thanks LoganBerry, CortezDVT, Cj18, SuperCharged DC, Ryan-RAM Designs,LoudNLow931*
