philrab Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 Jensen two channel. Think it was like 150x2 @ 4 ohms, probably wasn't though. Set the gain by ear, played my subs way below tuning freq, blew two subs a year till I got rid of the car. Was a kid and new no better. zZZzzzSnooze Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 Rockford Fosgate Power 350S, Bro gave it to me because he got it free & the amp got hot as hell but still worked up until I wired it to the battery in reverse, Smoked up. Still have it somewhere around here. I know where the end caps are though. Here is a video of my 1st amp, all broken. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BI9Tt8EKcyM&list=UUyvUQplYBDfcrBxuFmkrDYw Quote
95 south Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 It was an amplifier by Orion called The Hott Sett Up.....Beastly amp for 375 watts. It had a skull and cross bones on the faceplate and the eyes lit up brighter as the volume increased....lol 1 Quote No System......GFY
TheBrown57 Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) The same one I am using today Audiobahn A8000t. Working great for me now and pushes my Type R's enough for me to enjoy it. It does get pretty hot though even with a built in fan. Edited August 4, 2014 by TheBrown57 Quote New to the car audio world and looking to learn as much as I can.
DeejthaNiij Posted August 4, 2014 Report Posted August 4, 2014 First amp? I got lucky and found a JL 1000/1, the big old boy for $430 used at a local audio shop. At the time, I didn't know a thing about systems. Now, I wish I would have kept it. Quote
