TeejayBee
so someone posted there asking about doing hids in his rabbit i replyed saying what all i bought because of having the same car and stock headlights and i got the reply from someone saying "Re: hids its not cool to install hid in stock housing, people looking at you from another car will think you're a young idiot. " anyone else put hids in stock headlights that arent "hid" headlights?

chuchunesme
When you put HID's in a Halogen, free form housing they tend to scatter the light and blind people coming toward you. I've seen some really bad ones, smaller housings aren't as bad. You really want projector housings to direct the light where it should be. If you go to DDM tuning HID kits are only like $30 or $40 too, best lighting upgrade ever.
TheyDontWantMusic
"TeejayBee" what are you laughing about? he's right, you shouldn't put HID's in normal headlights, its most likely illegal, and dangerous. now I'm laughing at you... interesting isn't it... Jbabycsx
Mine are in the factory housings(not installed by me) and I get flashed everytime I use my headlights. Gets really old after the first few.
