Thats for people who are running like 30,000 watts.

Since it's in the topic I have a 0 gauge question.

Running 5000 watts RMS on two amps (2500 a piece) getting juice from two alternators pushing about 500 amps at revs. If every rating I see about 1/0 wire says 300 amps, does this mean that I would need to run two 1/0 power wires to my secondary batteries from the front?

Sorry if this is a no brainer question.

Well if your Alts combined put out more than 500 I would say go for three runs, but if that's just the current draw from the amps then you should be fine with 2.

Alts output is max of 500 about 300 idle. The issue being one outputs 200 and the other 300. So i'm sure i'm in for a wiring conundrum.
