I was pushing it firther than i have before (with a little clip)then came the smell. so if anyone else ever had AudioQue SDC 2.5s before. can you tell me how hard you pushed them. and if you killed them. how? If it played 1hz below tuning you could smell the coils. They never actually got hot and even after we took them out if the box the coils looked brand new. Think it's just the subs being so stiff. Yah as soon as it started smelling it i turned it way down My level input is set to the preamp volt on my head unit and my bass boost is around 65-70% and the bass did not sound distorted in any way so im just gussing that it was probly clipping a little. and yes i know i need to o scope it to make shure. People in orlando with a o scope. i need your help! Now that you say that i was playing Demons By: Tech N9NE. which is really low. lowwer than my box. plus i have been bumpig my sub since X-mas and its still really stiff.
