jdubs
why compare apples and oranges? batcap 8400 is not the same type or price of battery. I know this. But I'd love to see how a 1500 dollar battery compares to one that runs significantly less in price. I'm not sure that I completely understand your "type" of battery but I've heard nothing but good things about both companies Quote Kenwood DDX 514 DD M3a DD 9512G RF 600.4 RF power series 6x8s lots of zero ga. Benji0687
I could be wrong, but I thought I read somewhere that the "competitor 1" and "competitor 2" batteries were practically the same thing and came from the same build house? Again, I could be mistaken, but I seem to recall reading something along those lines. I'm looking forward to the day I can afford an XS Power battery. I've ran Kinetiks and Optimas for years, and I thought the Kinetik were great compared to any previous batteries I had used. Seeing this test really makes me eager to try a XS Power battery soon. Good job on building such a high quality product. audiofanaticz
Oh yeah, of coarse I just bought 2 new Kinetiks a few months ago. FML!!! ouch!! My buddy almost made the same mistake a couple months ago and been trying to contact kinetik for 16volt batteries. Needless to say he likes my leaky d3100s and how they held up being 6 years old, he went ahead and ordered 20 XS Power 16volts. Yummm! Purplehaze
I have been thinking, is there any way you can do the test again, only this time reverse the order of the batteries? See, I am wondering if the tester was pulling a different load the first time used, as opposed to the last. If you could do it again, this time reversing the order of the batteries, then that would remove any questions about the testing procedures. Thanks for your time.
