US Amps 600X RCA's crossed?

Recommended Posts

I bought a used 600X from a dude, an amp i always wanted for a while just couldn't find any new.

Anyhow the amp works/plays fine, however i noticed the RCA inputs are crossed. As in the L RCA is really R and vice versa.

I thought i had crossed the RCA's from the deck, but it's connected properly. I even tried the RCA's on another 600X and it works as it should.

The solution is to simply switch the RCA at the amp.

Is there anything internally that could be done to correct it? Not that it affects the performance, it's just kinda weird to have a crossed RCA.

Thanks

When looking at the rca jack is it different between the 2 600X's?

Or are the end plates marked diffrently?

It would be a difficult operation to switch that configuration around inside the amp. My suggestion would be for you to just switch the rca plugs as you have already done.
