RE MT 15s Bandpass

Recommended Posts

Let me just jump right in there...

I'm going to be doing 2 RE MT 15s (Black Bottom) in a 4th order BP. They are dual 1.4 ohm, dual tinsel lead, dual progressive spider.

This is going in the bed of a '98 chevy s10 and will fire into the cab via cut-through.

Currently a single SS XXX4000d and will later add a second if everything sound good on the initial build.

So...

I'm thinking 2cf per on the sealed side then 3:1 ratio with ported side tuned in the mid to low 40's.

Looking for nice LOWS and not sacrifice too much of the higher bass notes (up to 100hz-ish).

Any thoughts ?

idk how mts will like bandpass probably not very much. but why would you want to play up to 100hz?

theres no such thing as too expensive when it comes to upgrades like that, because imo if you are gonna spend to upgrade then do it correctly rather then be a cheap ass ricer

Isn't that the point of a 4th order bandpass....increased response over a wide range of frequencies?

when i say 100 hz I dont mean i want it to peak at 100hz, just still want to hear it.

Thanks for the post.
