sundownz
ok, so the newest ones have the little spacer/vent between the basket and motor? All of them have a spacer but the newest ones have the vented spacer with Sundown Audio logo on it Quote - Jacob Fuller - Owner, Sundown Audio - Sundown Audio on FACEBOOK - Please DO NOT PM ME -- use my email address -- [email protected]

Ain't nothing wrong with 9 sq in per cube, that's about as low as I'll go, from doing that small of port, it allows you have have a wider frequency bandwidth, which IMO is awesome. The SA's sound awesome with that much port area and when tuned at about 30hz dig insanely low! kr15
Or should I take them out of the ported enclosure and have him put them in a sealed to help handle the extra power? this statement doesnt exactly make sense. If you properly set your filters, a sub will handle more power in a ported box within its tuning. Also, ssf at 25 is very likely too low unless the box is tuned at 30 or so. I usually set ssf 5hz below tuning. Its sloped anyway, so its not like a brick wall, you will still have output below tuning. Also, in my experience, the SA line prefers less port area then other applications Quote Team Flex Issues Low tuning > God 2011 CALI AS1 STATE CHAMP
