crescendo audio bc3500.1 mono are they any good

Recommended Posts

ill be buying the BC3500 by the end of the month. he just finished making the new bass knobs with clipping indicators like AQ does. and its cheaper than AQ3500. bc3500 $600 compared too AQ3500 $800. AQ raised there prices within a year of coming out and knowing everyone is buying they claimed parts prices went up yeah right. thats why crescendo audio sells almost the same broad as the AQ3500. also was told sundown and crescendo are both made in the same building together. crescendo audio is diffidently not out to screw you

You honestly have close to no idea what you're talking about. And just so you know, not everything you hear is truth.

May be wrong bc3500=aq3500 v1. <------First Version of the aq3500 with one set of inputs

aq3500 v2 = dual inputs and 4300rms rating @ 14.4volts

Got 1 bc3500 pushing a level 5 15 in a 3cuft box at 34 Hz @.7 ohm before rise, and I love it. Sub barely gets warm unless I play power supply - bass from the ground, then they get a lil hot(amp tuned with a DD-1 BTW)....oops got a lil carried away. Amp is great, communication with navid is decent since he is a busy Guy. Warranty is great, depending who repairs the amp because when my first bc3500 became defective, sent it in to a certified crescendo amp repair man, fucked navid over, and navid sent me a new replacement for the inconvenience that wasn't navid's fault at all. But so far the amp hasn't haven me any problems. And had it @.5 ohm before rise with zero issues and aren't power hungry.

How do the Japanese feel about bass?

You know that since 03/11/11

Progene? I just saw that stuff on CNN. They said it makes your junk shrink all up. lol.

im pretty sure the op wont even notice if it gets even smaller.

Um...he is comparing two current products which were quoted for price. It would make sense he is referring to the 4,200 watt board offered at a higher price than when AQ first came out, which was offering the 3,500 watt board. OF COURSE there is going to be a price difference.

And that aside, $800 for 4,200 is an AWESOME deal. When will people realize this?

Crescendo amps are rated at 13.8 unlike AQ which is rated at 14.4 keep that in mind. .6 volt can be a big difference when comparing wattage. And again, Creedendo is .5ohm stable all day long, which will put out more power obviously, not just for a burp but all the time

I have run both and extensively. Most of my clamp tests still show above rated power done at 14 volts with the Audioque. I prefer AQ over Crescendo but that is preference, especially the AQ3500.1 over the BC5500 any day of the week.

And .5 ohm stable? Both are not warrantied beneath 1 ohm nominal but both can be wired down that low so I do not see that being a plus for Crescendo.

AQ amps are stable down to .25 ohm on burp, I even know a few guys(setups I built) that run .25 ohm daily on the new version AQ3500D.1, and the AQ3500D.1 will crush the crescendo amp in compared test. That is the facts.
