.75 plywood is close to 10 times as stiff as birch is and is acoustically dead.

I'll be using it for a build once I find some one to cut to my needs

Op, bout the only real plus to using Birch is the weight.

i thought teh quadwood would have a better following here. oh wells, me and sensai are the only ones here who are oldschool enough to know teh awesome uber l33t powers of quadwood.
