Those do not go together. lol this. im planning on doing a 7k+ set-up with what i meantion above. i guess ill be the fucking guinea pig on this one. if i see too much voltage drop, gonna be packing more d3100s than just having 2. lol. my alty will hate me for this. dsktim Posted July 4, 2011 Report Share Posted July 4, 2011 I run my 2 saz 3500 on a 300 amp alt and 2 xs d6500 batts but i dont run them hard very long like that. I figure at max im only getting about 250 out of my alt for audio the rest to run the truck so 250 X 14.4 = 3600 not enough. I keep my batts on a charger when i can and i can get away with it but i am not doing anything to extend the life of my equipment running it like that. I need to get my second 300 amp alt in then i will be able to run them no problems at all dont forget it takes power to make power.
