AI James
if you have 4k on tap for each, id look at SMD's I'd try them myself but do not have the power on tap to even run one of them.
ISO
if you have 4k on tap for each, id look at SMD's I'd try them myself but do not have the power on tap to even run one of them. I'm thinking the same thing. I don't run anything BIG but if I was going to go big it would be....18s the SMD or the Level 5 but realisticly I want 15s on 25 hundred watts and I'm looking at Havocs and DC LvL 4 maybe with the lvl 5 coil. The SMD's really have my attention though. They are quite interesting and I'm never going to get to experience one unless I buy it for my self. LOL I was drooling over them last night when I was checking out Steve's West Coast site. I just don't know if a RF 2500.1BDcp would be enough to run one and I'm not going bigger than that. iKidwell
if you have 4k on tap for each, id look at SMD's I'd try them myself but do not have the power on tap to even run one of them. pretty sure he's gonna get a dc 9k or somethin similar, but if i was you i'd look into either finding some used subs, or going with AA/fi... c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress
Supercharged DCs
if you have 4k on tap for each, id look at SMD's I'd try them myself but do not have the power on tap to even run one of them. The plan is to have at least 4k on tap for each, but that won't be until Christmas time/ early January due to my broke ass lol. I'd love to get my hands on some SMDs, but even used I don't think I can find them to fit my budget. Maybe Steve will give us a nice little coupon on the ones on his store To whoever asked, I'd prefer new but can look into used as well, depending on price and condition. Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Louisiana Bass
If we switch, my vote goes to the fully loaded Fi BTL N2. Would get N3, but I've heard they aren't as musical and more of an spl/burp sub. N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.

Team_DC-Derrick
wall or non wall? i have 2 18s and wish i went with 4 15s.... 4 XL 15s would handle the DC 9k better than the 2 lvl 5s, imo... that is if you are stuck on DC.. I WOULD NOT put over 3kw to the AQs, ive seen bigpimpin do it, and guess what, he doesnt have them anymore lol... only a select few has ever ran over 3kw to AQs and did good with them... I wouldnt run over 3k to FI BLs either... just get what you want, but i suggest 4 15s over 2 18s... Louisiana Bass
The thing is, 4 15"s are more expensive. I highly highly highly doubt I can find 4 well built, nice 15" subs for <1200 N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
