I bet it tightened the ass end up big time! That exhaust is still sexy as funk too man. Love the car! it feels great but i cant really be too happy yet until i get my alignment. That is today after work, about 2ish. It rides straight and true, i am curious to see how far off my caveman alignment is from a computerized one. They will give me a before and after read-out ....i will post it Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! meade916
i do have video of this whole thing, because i am a youtube-aholic like that......its not edited and uploaded yet but here is the results. Also, i gotta give up some love to Lexus of Sacramento.....they didnt give me the evil eye or any of that, they have been really cool all the way though this process. I told them what i was doing well ahead of time, asked advice on what to do and what not to do, brought the product in and showed it to them......and then did it. I came back after it was done and they brought me out to the shop so i could explain to them what all i did and get some pics/vids of the actual alignment. The tech was really liking the whole setup! I have gotten MANY an Evil-eye after buying new cars from dealers and modding them. They dont take kindly to that usually. L.O.S. is great though. Im sure my warranty on the stock arms is gone though LOL - keep in mind that this "before/after" is WITH the new mega arms installed. I dont have the old number handy (with the factory arms) but it was MUCH worse. "Before" represents my eyeball/tape measure alignment job on the new install (to get me through the weekend) and After is obviously after i took it down for the alignment. Rear Camber Before: L -1.5° R -1.0° (not bad for a tape measure and a good eye!) After: L -.9° R -.9° ←←← we could have gotten to .00 but they recommend a little camber, and its well within factory spec now. Rear Toe Before: L -.7° R -.33° (again, not bad!) After: L - 0.00° - R - 0.00° No more rear, inner tire wear FTW!! Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! BJD3
This thing looks way meaner than the 250. Care to toss up a side-by-side? Old vs new. meade916
******UPDATE***** Its been about 8 months......and NO TIRE WEAR! as you know, its sitting on Pirelli P-Zero Nero 285/25/20's. They still look brand new! Its a soft tire too! S/O to Figs Engineering for making a great product!! I am sorry, i am not about the tire shredding super camber that some people like. I have had lowered cars all my life and inner tire wear has worn my pocketbook thin LMAO! Its great to tuck some tire and not worry about the camber 2 Quote All SMD products + MORE available at my store here! https://wccaraudio.com/ Subscribe to My Youtube Channel! SmallTruk
Thats awesome bro. Saving tire life is definitely a plus, that shit adds up quick. Curious....With all the weight in the Tahoe, what kinda tire life do you get and what kinda tires? I've been trying to find a tire that'll fit my van AND last longer than 12-14 months.
