I think two lvl 4 12s running on that power would probably get louder. More cone area and working more on the power they like. The xl would laugh at that power.

May need a slighty bigger box though.

I would get a bigger amp but I'm trying to avoid getting a HO alternator because I'm only going to have this car for a year or two more and I don't want to get a lot of audio stuff that wont transfer to my next car hopefully a 1999 Jeep Cherokee.

You don't need a H/O alternator to run 2kw, just get a good AGM battery up front and a good one in the rear... Just a little input lol

Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks :)

Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.

Yeah with that power just some batts will do the trick, and go with a bigger amp for the XL its way underrated at 1500. Look into the crescendo BC2000
