corey0928
Lol the section says second skin. But alpha pro hasn't been tested in real world applications yet so I'd hold off on recommending that. And you can't go wrong with second skin! Second Skin Rep Jon
If budget is an issue, Audio Technix is a little cheaper, and from what I've heard, comparable to the Damplifier from Second Skin. Hope you don't take any offense to that Jon, just suggesting a cheaper, but quality product. No offense taken. I have my data comparing most of these products being discussed and I know where it ranks compared to the thinner and lighter Damplifier. Quote Have a question about Second Skin? E-Mail me! KillaCam
If you're on a budget and want good quality go with audio technix. Ive never used fatmat but from what I heard its cheap and you get what you pay for. Dynamat is good quality but a little overpriced imho. If you're not on a tight budget go all the way with second skin, yeah its expensive but once again you get what you pay for. RickyFriery97
If you had to choose between THOSE two, Dynamat. Not because of it';s thickness or any of that, but because it's a high quality product with a good butyl adhesive. Whereas FatMat has a thin foil and an asphalt/rubber mix as it's adhesive. In all honesty, I would take a better look at ALL of the choices out there... HINT HINT check sig HINT HINT. Fatmat rapes yer women and burns yer kids Good thing I keep it locked up outside in the shop... In all serious though, it's out there because of the damn smell. i can relate to that, i have (and not proud to say it, ) 300sq ft of fat mat in my suburban, and the smell hasant gone away. (been months now...) and honestly im worried about it sticking good in the texas heat on my roof, but my headliner is very snug i at the Dynamat VS fatmat in the secondskin section Quote 2014 Chevy Silverado Crewcab 1994 Chevy Full Size blazer

BeatBox
for me its worked fine i did notice a big difference nothing has fallen off, it didnt even smell in my car. maybe the day i installed it but it never left a smell days or months after. i DIDNT install it on the roof tho so cant say anything as far as that. I would buy it if i was on a budget, if u have the money to afford SS then go for that.
