Charging XS Power 12v

Recommended Posts

If you read the paper work with the batteries it says 14.9V and under. Cold start is not very relevant, when it heats up you are going to be right around recommended voltage. In the winter you may cold start 16V though :P

leave it alone. cold start that is fine once your car warms up and alt warms up specifically its output voltage will drop to safe levels.

Did the alt come with AVBM harness? if so just keep an eye on your voltage once car is hot that while driving you don't go over 14.8v

If it does just make fine adjustments down until around 2000rpm your at 14.8v hot. you can mess your batteries up if you charge them higher than what xs recommends for longer than 5min.

ya people run 15.7 alt output, 14.7 volts is charging voltage of your battery.. soo you could probably scope up your settings bit

good god, NO.

he lives in california. it never gets cold enough to see 16v lol. 30* would be crazy cold here and we would only see that at night.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.
