I bet that was fun lol Yeah I wasn't expecting these subs to weigh this much but dang, they are heavy. It is the biggest pain to get em out of the box. Posted November 3, 2011 Report Share Posted November 3, 2011 was taking one of my nightshade 18's out for the first time out of a recessed box at 3 am and didn't realize i left one screw in. just thought it was really heavy cuz i was in a really awkward position and messed up the basket hole and stripped out a big portion of mdf.
