Lol damn right we want to see hairtricks on old ladies and eyes popping out.

Looks real good mate.

Loudness is no substitute for musicianship, and partial deafness is no badge of honor. I was once able to hear this advice.

Phoenix Gold, I have a few questions,

I personally own a Saturn Astra, (same body style and year but by GM). What headunit and mouting kit did you use, and is it with OnStar, and does your HUD (Computer) work with the headunit for the display? It seems like with all that windshield flexing, you may need a stripper pole to brace it. Also, if you wanted to kit the car out or with aftermarket tailights, look up http://www.irmscher.com/

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the encouragement, we're all just trying to build LOUD cars like you LOL!!! And to be honest we all LOVE to show off our hard work, so the pics are a bit of a cry for attention ;)

Glad everyone is liking the build so far, there's still some work to come in order to button up the system and make it look less like a giant plywood box...

Thanks again for letting us put up this build on your site and get sooooo many people looking at it!!!

Cheers,

Scott

Hi QuakeCityStudio,

Our Holden Astra is a 2005 AH model hatchback based on the Vauxhall. We're using a Connects2 fascia and CANbus/Steeringwheel interface and an amplified Fakra antenna adapter. Beyond that the vehicle is pretty much stock.

Also in regards to the stripper pole it is already in the works, we have the mounting brace already in place up in the roof, just need to build the bottom mounting plate and the actual pole! This will be bright yellow as well to match the other metal work and highlights.

Cheers,

Scott

Like steve said, EPIC BUILD. Just finished going through every page! Can't wait to see what this does on the meter!

i tink a 165 db :dj:

BaHaHa!!!! As much as we would LOVE to be in the 160 Club I highly doubt it...there are far too many trade-offs in this enclosure design in order to make it look decent and actually fit into the car. We have parallel baffles, we have all square corners and we have giant metal bracing inside the box all combining to interfere with the soundwave transferring to the port.

Our goal was mid 150's and we're still hoping that we make it, anything above that is just GREAT!!!
