Well Get the coppers and when you get the new amp see if the coppers can handle it, if not you were gonna have to recone it anyway.

techforce has an 18 XXX for $259. Get that asap

Its need a recone. But those are totally diff subs.

Im running a 15 copper on a 3500@2 ohm, it handles it well. Although i dont know how much power its actually getting

i also considered the ia 21"... but im a fart in the wind when i comes to single woofer set ups, i dont know how popular they are.

it is in the for sale section he posted it only a few hours ago I think. Even if it needs a recone you are still under budget maybe.

Why are you worried about whats "popular"? Go with what you like. But a 21" warden would be sweet. But pricey. But one things certain the HDC3s are loud as hell, if thats what your looking for then thats a great sub to do that with.
