Jmoney2544
Just got my Viper 5901 Security System Installed Today and everything seems to work fine except one thing... The trunk release. My trunk release is automatic (not some lever you pull) and had a button for my trunk on my regular key fab so i know its compatable. He said the AUX button is my trunk and when i got home i tried it and held the button down for 2 seconds and it didnt pop my trunk but unlocked my doors. Is there anyway i could re-program/change this without tearing my car apart and going back up there? Robert8252
If they installed it they fucked up and should fix it for free. You could easily do it your self assuming you can wire anything but take it back to have them fix it. When you hold the aux button the trunk should pop once the remote confirms the command Quote 2013 F150 Crew Cab Old Build Log Feedback 2013 F150 Equipment - Some Awesome Stereo Sound Making Stuff
GSanders17
I would definItely take it back to where it was installed. They should take care of it for free and get you setup right.
