DodgerCannon
Just want to know is anyone has seen any gain from using dual input adapters like what toolmaker can make? Thanks.
D-train-13k
im pretty sure that you should gain. allowing more current to flow can either help give more actual power to your amps so on paper you should she increases. plus they're sexy as hell. a guy i know used the b3500 and couldnt get all the power because his 1/0 was starving the amp. switched to dual inputs and could play his system louder for longer. DodgerCannon
I see. I was thinking that, the 3500D only comes with single inputs... might use them when I get my 3500s. Any machinists will be able to knock them up with a cnc right?

hdorre
It will help, to a certain extent. For example, let's say that your amp pulls 375amps on a full burp; but your 1/0 only carries 300a for your length. Dual inputs will help because your voltage at the amp will drop. However, if you have 2/0 that carries 400a, then dual inputs probably won't benefit you (considering there isn't much resistance). DodgerCannon
Hummm.... now that could be the difference in me reaching my Target. 0.5dB isn't to be grumbled at when chasing numbers.

Derrick824
With my saz-3500d @ 1ohm I didn't see any gain with dual inputs. With it wired to 0.25-0.33 adding dual inputs gained a consistent 0.4db.
