4 18's in a Dodge Ram - Team Sundown Russia

So, you guys are probably used to me posting all these nice builds and videos from various Team Sundown Russia members.... I've pretty much lost count of all the systems I have posted up on the forums for our guys - Sundown Audio is easily the most popular brand in Russia for big builds and all out groundpounders since it was introduced on the local market a little over 2 years ago.

Today, I am finally ready to show you my system... or at least the progress we have made so far ( I say we as I am getting plenty help from the team on this, most notably the great crew at D Style Audio)

to start off, a bit of background on my truck:

2003 Dodge Ram regular cab

4.7 v8, auto, rear wheel drive

I imported this truck from Florida around 3 years ago, here's how it looked back then (these are photos shot in Florida when my guy came to inspect the truck)

The leer tonneu cover and the painted rear bumper were taken from my other Ram that I had bought earlier (I put a rollpan on it)

Here's a few vids of how the truck looked earlier this year....I have also bought a Sport front bumper as I prefer that one over the chrome piece

Now, I've been wanting to do a big build for a while...seeing and hearing all these loud systems my guys were building really had me wanting to upgrade from the 3 SA12's I had in the truck back in 2010.... So, after extensive cosultations with Jacob and Derrick (Team Nemesis FTMFW!!) we settled on a blowthrough 4th order design for 4 Sundown z18v2's.... Derrick did the calculation and provided the blueprint all the way back in september of 2010..... we proceeded to tear out my system withe the SA12's, cut the bed and cab, install the seal and actually made the enclousure....and then the project was put on hold due to me being busy, alway travelling on business in and out of the country, handling new shipment etc, etc, etc

like I said, since the project was on hold for almost a year, and being my daily driver I had almost abandoned the thought of getting it done.... but then I had a chance to snag up some 24's

and that got everything moving.... I decided the truck needed new paint (actualy I wanted to get the front bumper and grille to match the rest of the truck)....but it turned into this

a perfect fit amd it works with the stock pcm regulator (no check gauge light on)

the underhood battery id an XS Power D6500 and there will be a few runs of Shok Industries O awg Competition wire
