Be careful, innocent stuff like this can turn into a real nightmare when things go wrong, especially when goofing around. I suggest making one out of cardboard and wrapping it with foil. I know it sounds real pansy, but that aluminum sword is just bad news. Good luck either way. :drinks:

get one them knife sharpeners, and get to work lol trick or i chop down ya fucking door

lol honestly, i keep running sand paper over the edge because it gets too sharp while im sanding/shaping it.

lol thats badass! is it gonna be a legit sword or just a halloween prop?

edit. just read first line lol. im assuming just a prop

it could do some serious damage lol. against another sword it would just get dented up of course because its made of aluminum.

i was going to just get a wood ball from a crafts store but i like that idea. a ball with a flat spot will work great and be easier to cut. thanks.

there is the hand guard. i hit those two wooden pieces with some primer and waiting for that to dry. the guard will probably be brown and the grip will be white.

nice man good craftsmanship i like . it will look sick if you get some gloss or something and make it shiny lol

ya, im trying to decide if i want it super shiny or make it look old and used. there were a lot of marks left by the grinder that i couldnt really sand out. so i might fill those with black paint to make it look grimy.
