Thanks.Just so you guys know I found out today that my headunits subwoofer pre outs went bad somehow. I was having trouble setting the gains with the dd-1 which eventually led me back to the deck or amps.So I swapped in my old deck and everything worked fine.So I have to try and get this one repaired or replaced which Im sure they wont replace and will tell me that I will have to send it in to Kenwood to get fixed.Either way Im happy it was only the deck and not the amps. Real96SS Posted January 22, 2012 Author Report Share Posted January 22, 2012 So finally got my hands on a TL to see where I sit right now with no tuning not sealed from the bed and box not bolted down.First off thanks to Brett for sending me his TL to do this with.I was having problems with the TL taking multiple tries for it to start reading.Had to keep resetting and starting like 10 or more times before it would start.Did 2 test first on music and second I just played the frequency range and it seems to peak around 42hz.Don't know exactly what this means but the K factor was set at 177.8 which is what's on the side of the meter.I do have a question for the TL pro's,Why does the spectrum analyzer show at 41hz I did a 154.5 but up top says 148.9 at 41? Either way I know it will be well over a 150 once I'm done just trying to make sure I have everything right with the TL and yes this was sealed(as in doors closed windows up)on the dash. Regarding one sub moving less than the other; I could be wrong about this, but I believe I've read somewhere that when you have two subs in a single enclosure with an offset port like you've got, one sub will unload more quickly than the other.
